Pressure Wash Long Island
108 Jerusalem Ave, Hicksville, NY 11801
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website at pressurewashlongisland.com and any services provided by Pressure Wash Long Island. By using this site or accepting a proposal/estimate, you agree to these terms.
**1) Legally Binding Agreement**
By accepting a proposal with Pressure Wash Long Island — whether by written approval, deposit payment, e-signature, or verbal authorization — you are entering into a legally binding agreement for work to be completed at the agreed-upon price. In the event of cancellation, non-payment, or breach of this contract, all deposits paid shall be forfeited as liquidated damages.
**2) Product Warranties**
All warranties are limited to those offered by the manufacturers of the products used. Pressure Wash Long Island makes no additional warranties. If you have a concern regarding our work, please contact us immediately.
**3) Water Usage**
By accepting this agreement, you authorize Pressure Wash Long Island to use an on-site water supply as needed without compensation. If a supplemental or off-site water supply is required, it will be billed as an additional charge. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the water supply is on and in working order prior to our arrival. Please remove all hoses, splitters, timers, and similar attachments from hose bibs. Pressure Wash Long Island is not responsible for damage resulting from the removal of third-party attachments. Additional charges will apply if water is unavailable upon our arrival.
**4) Electrical Usage and Fixtures**
By accepting this agreement, you authorize Pressure Wash Long Island to use an on-site electrical source as needed without compensation. If an off-site or supplemental source is required, it will be billed as an additional charge.
It is the customer’s **sole responsibility** to ensure that all exterior electrical outlets, receptacles, light fixtures, **ceiling fans, exhaust fans**, sconces, and junction boxes are in proper working order, weathertight, and GFCI-protected prior to our arrival. We strongly recommend that the customer cover, bag, or temporarily remove all outdoor fans, light fixtures, and other electrical items before our crew arrives. We also recommend shutting off power at the breaker to all exterior circuits prior to work beginning.
Pressure Wash Long Island is not responsible for damage to electrical components, connected equipment, or property resulting from faulty, non-weathertight, or improperly installed electrical infrastructure.
**5) Customer Site Preparation**
The customer is fully responsible for preparing the work area, including but not limited to:
– Removing or covering all outdoor furniture, grills, planters, décor, vehicles, and personal property within 20 feet of the work area.
– Covering, bagging, or removing all outdoor ceiling fans, light fixtures, electrical devices, and water-sensitive items.
– Ensuring all windows, doors, and electrical enclosures are securely closed and weathertight.
– Disclosing any known vulnerabilities (loose siding, older windows, wood rot, etc.) before work begins.
Pressure Wash Long Island is not responsible for damage to any personal property or items that were not properly removed or protected.
**6) Color and Tone Variances**
The species, age, density, and weathering of wood can significantly affect the resulting color or tone of any applied stain or finish. Some variance should be anticipated. Pressure Wash Long Island makes every effort to accurately represent the expected final color.
**7) Job Site Safety**
While Pressure Wash Long Island is on-site performing work, the customer is responsible for keeping all children, pets, and other individuals away from the work area. Treated surfaces must remain off-limits to children, pets, and foot traffic for a minimum of 24 hours after completion.
**8) Payments**
Payments are due per the contract schedule and must be made by check, cash, or approved electronic method unless other arrangements are agreed upon in writing. The remaining balance is due in full upon completion of the job unless otherwise stated. Late charges will be assessed on overdue balances. The customer agrees to pay all collection costs incurred by Pressure Wash Long Island.
**9) Scheduling**
Scheduling depends on weather conditions. Circumstances beyond our control, including inclement weather or unforeseen site conditions, may affect start or completion dates. We will notify you promptly of any changes.
**10) Removal and Replacement of Items**
Removal and replacement of grills, deck furniture, planters, and other items are the homeowner’s responsibility. If our crew moves items, we are not responsible for damage or breakage. We do not provide storage. Additional labor charges will apply for time spent moving items.
**11) Damages and Pre-Existing Conditions**
Pressure Wash Long Island is not responsible for damages resulting from pre-existing conditions, including but not limited to: improperly installed or loose siding, loose or missing shingles, broken or unsealed windows and doors, wood rot, defective construction, improperly secured wiring, loose gutters, or improper caulking.
Power washing may reveal pre-existing fading, chalking, weathering, or imperfections. We are not responsible for the appearance of such conditions after cleaning, nor for loose mortar that may dislodge.
**12) Stains and Difficult Materials**
Some stains (tree sap, artillery fungus, paint splatters, etc.) cannot be fully removed by power washing. We make every effort to identify these during quoting, but we cannot guarantee complete removal.
**13) Property Condition & Water Infiltration**
The customer warrants that the property is in good repair and weathertight prior to the start of work. Pressure Wash Long Island is not responsible for water infiltration or resulting damage caused by poor installation or maintenance of doors, windows, or electrical components.
**14) Window Spotting**
Windows may become water spotted during our services. **Window cleaning is not included unless specifically listed in the accepted proposal.**
**15) Concrete**
Concrete appearance after cleaning depends on original pour and curing conditions. Previously hidden imperfections may become visible and are considered pre-existing conditions.
**16) Website Use**
All content, logos, and trademarks on pressurewashlongisland.com are the property of Pressure Wash Long Island and may not be reproduced without permission. We are not responsible for third-party websites linked from our site.
**17) Liability Limitation**
Pressure Wash Long Island shall not be liable for any damages except those caused by its **gross negligence or willful misconduct**. In no event shall we be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
**18) Indemnification**
The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Pressure Wash Long Island, its owners, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or costs (including attorney fees) arising from the customer’s failure to prepare the site, protect property, or disclose known issues.
**19) Entire Agreement**
This document and the attached proposal constitute the entire agreement. No verbal representations or modifications shall be binding. Any changes must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
**Acceptance of Terms**
By accepting any proposal or estimate, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to all terms and conditions above.
